Santo Domingo
A starting point for a trip that fits you.
A starting point for your three days
An illustrative plan. Adjust visits to your dates, interests and mobility; activities are not included or booked.
Day 1
Walk the Colonial Zone
Start at Parque Colón and explore the Colonial Zone streets. Choose one cultural visit and leave time to sit in a square. Check opening hours and access before visiting monuments.
Day 2
History and local flavours
Explore the area around Plaza España and choose a museum that matches your interests. Make time for local food and a relaxed afternoon walk without trying to see everything.
Day 3
A different perspective
Choose a Malecón walk or a visit to Los Tres Ojos. The latter needs a transfer and an access check. If time is limited, keep your plans close to your accommodation.
Before you travel
- Wear comfortable shoes and look for shade during the hottest hours.
- Allow extra transfer time: traffic can change journey duration.
- Confirm opening hours, admission and accessibility directly with each venue.
